Area code 364 is a proposed area code to serve western Kentucky, including the cities of Madisonville, Hopkinsville, Henderson, Murray, and Paducah. It will be created by splitting Area code 270 along the Pennyrile Parkway. Mandatory use of the 364 area code is scheduled to begin October 1, 2008, with a transitional period beginning April 1, 2008.
